Lesson 1: What is Global Citizenship
Lesson 1 in this unit is designed to introduce students (ELA, Social Studies, Science, ESL - Level 3) to the concept of global citizenship and the process of synthesizing information. Through this one-hour lesson, with activities ranging from 15 to 30 minutes, students (Grades 6-12, Ages 11-18) will begin to build meaningful connections with people and places beyond their immediate surroundings.
